The aim of this lesson is to introduce the basic need for all animals, including humans, to eat and exercise properly. It also encourages children to recognise their responsibilities when caring for a pet and to be able to recognise good and bad foods for animals.
By using the Pet Scientists lesson plan and interactive resources, pupils will learn about the basic needs of animals as well as the importance of exercise and the correct diet.
