Science in action
In order to treat sick and injured animals vets have to use good science, show pupils how what they learn in lessons also applies in real life situations; planning, obtaining, analysing and evaluating.
Introduction
PDSA is the UK's leading veterinary charity, we have over 450 vets and vet nurses. Part of their job means they have to plan, obtain, analyse and evaluate evidence. Use PDSA veterinary surgeons as an example of how science is needed in the real world. Pupils can also learn more about careers in veterinary science.
