Youth groups
PDSA works with youth groups across the UK to help raise awareness of animal welfare and responsible pet care.
Working with youth groups
PDSA works with a variety of youth groups to promote responsible pet care.
We are fortunate that many groups work with us to enable a partnership, educating young people about animal welfare, pet care and careers involved with animals. PDSA is happy to support youth groups by:
- Providing talks to youth groups on a variety of subjects. (Subject to location and availability.)
- Supplying pet care materials to help group members gain their badges.
- Providing support and materials to help groups fundraise.
The Boys' Brigade
PDSA has worked closely with The Boys' Brigade to write and produce some animal based activities for leaders to use with their groups.
The activities are based around responsible pet care, respecting all animals, helping wildlife and educating young people about the five welfare needs of animals.
