PDSA's Pet Protectors Club arrives in Chelmsford
Leading veterinary charity PDSA is inviting animal-mad kids from Essex to a fantastic day out where they can have fun and learn more about PDSA’s work caring for sick and injured animals.

The charity’s Pet Protectors Club is holding a party at Marsh Farm Country Park on Saturday, 25 July.

The party will give children and their parents the chance to meet a PDSA vet, learn more about caring for animals and join in workshops and animals activities. Children who are PDSA Pet Protectors Club members will get in free and be treated to a party lunch*.

Vicki Craighill, Young PDSA Manager, says: “Following the success of last year’s Pet Protectors parties held across the UK, we’re delighted to be back on the road and arriving in Essex later this month. There’s going to be lots to keep the whole family entertained on the day and we’d love to see lots of children there as we know how important animals are to them and how they want to care for them properly.”

For an annual fee of £10, members of the PDSA Pet Protectors club receive a welcome pack, personalised membership card, birthday card, badge, free gift and a copy of the fantastic club magazine, Animal Antics, six times a year.

To join the Pet Protectors please contact Vicki Craighill on freephone 0800 019 9144, email petprotectors@pdsa.org.uk, or join online at www.youngpdsa.org.uk

*Free entry is limited to children who are members of the Pet Protectors Club. Standard park entry charges apply for other visitors on the day. For 2009 prices see www.marshfarmcountrypark.co.uk.
