Don't say it with flowers... donate in memory of those who loved animals
Floral tributes fade and die but Memorial donations made to PDSA – the UK’s leading veterinary charity – are a lasting way to honour the memory of an animal lover and support a cause that was close to their heart. And with the launch of the charity’s online Book of Remembrance, a tribute page can now be created on PDSA’s website so that fond memories can be shared with family and friends.
Lucy Mold, project manager for the online Book of Remembrance, says how important memorial donations are to the charity: “PDSA is especially grateful for donations made in memory and as a token of our appreciation; we have created an online Book of Remembrance where a tribute page can be set up for a loved one.
“As well as supporting a cause that meant so much to that person an online tribute page creates an accessible memorial that family, friends and future generations can visit and pay their respects. That is so important to us”.
For those who want to honour the memory of an animal lover with an entry in the Book of Remembrance and a tribute page by making a donation, details can be found at www.pdsa.org.uk/inmemory or by calling freephone 0800 019 9166.
Anyone who has previously donated to PDSA and wants to set up a retrospective tribute page is welcome to do so by finding their loved ones name in the Book of Remembrance www.pdsa.org.uk/remember.
