Wallasey woman scoops cash prize in PDSA Cashcascade!

One lucky Wallasey resident, Mrs Margaret Brooks, has scooped £2,000 after supporting leading veterinary charity PDSA by entering Cashcascade the charity’s lottery-style game* that uses the same winning numbers drawn from the New York State Lottery Lotto.

Margaret’s daughter Sarah, encouraged her to sign up and they decided to split the winnings if they won. With beginners luck, the four numbers they selected came up trumps the first time they played!

Talking of her win, Margaret said: “I couldn’t believe it when a letter to say we had won arrived! My daughter is getting married soon, so she is putting her share towards her big day. I haven’t decided what to do with my half yet – maybe I’ll splash out on a new wedding outfit!

“I have a dog myself, Charlie, so I know the important role pets play in people’s lives. By playing PDSA Cashcascade, it was my way of helping PDSA to treat sick and injured pets – I never dreamt I would win!”

PDSA Cashcascade offers up to 16 times better prize fund than the National Lottery when matching four balls and players can win up to £50,000! Players can opt for either a £1 or £2 stake and it is played online so you don’t even need to leave the house to sign up!

Money raised from PDSA Cashcascade goes towards providing free veterinary treatment to the sick and injured pets of people in need, which provides a vital source of funding as the charity receives no government or lottery funding for its PetAid services.
