Head Nurse
Our Head Nurses (HN) lead our PDSA Pet Hospital nursing team, providing a high standard of customer service and clinical care while promoting pet wellbeing and supporting Veterinary Surgeons to deliver preventive services and to treat sick and injured pets of eligible clients.
Lead and develop our veterinary nurse and veterinary care assistant teams to efficiently manage the day-to-day workflow.
This includes stock control, hygiene and cleanliness of the PDSA Pet Hospital and equipment . They will also support our Senior Veterinary Surgeon to manage income and expenditure at PDSA Pet Hospital level, ensuring cost-effective use of PDSA resources.
All of our Head Nurses are RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurses and have an extensive track record including practice and people management and believe passionately in the work they do.
