Senior Veterinary Surgeon
Our Senior Veterinary Surgeons (SVS) lead our PDSA Pet Hospital teams, providing a high standard of customer service and clinical care while promoting pet wellbeing, delivering preventive services and treating sick and injured pets of eligible clients.
This is an exciting role which gives you a lot of responsibility and authority. You’ll be the line manager to the Head Nurse, Client services Manager and veterinary Surgeon team and will lead and develop our clinical team to efficiently manage the day-to-day workflow through our PDSA Pet Hospital. As the senior clinician you will be responsible for all aspects of clinical governance at the PDSA Pet Hospital.
Our Senior Veterinary Surgeons are also responsible for managing the team’s income and clinical expenditure; including treatment costs at PDSA Pet Hospital level, making sure that PDSA resources are used in a cost-effective way
You will be a multi-faceted RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with a track record that includes practice and people management. Dedicated to the vision and mission of PDSA, you will demonstrate outstanding communication, leadership and organisational skills and have a flexible approach to work as PDSA Pet Hospitals provide 24-hour cover.
