How do you choose the right pet for you?

We should only choose a pet if we’ll be able to provide the things that the pet will need throughout its life. The Animal Welfare Act tells us that pet owners have a “duty of care”, which means providing all pets with five important things. Pets need these five things to be healthy and happy. In these PetCasts, PDSA vets explain what the five important things are that all pets need to have, and look at some of the things that need to be provided for dogs, cats, rabbits and small pets.
