Donate shares

Donating your shares to PDSA could help to save the life of a sick or injured pet.

It couldn’t be easier to help pets in need of vets!

Simply send PDSA your original share certificate(s) together with this completed form.

You have no need to contact a stock broker or the registrars as our shares team will complete a Stock Transfer Form on your behalf and forward it to you to sign.

Once signed, all you have to do is return the Stock Transfer Form to us in the pre-paid envelope we provide – it’s as simple as that!

We will then sell the shares and use the money to help provide free veterinary care for the sick and injured pets of people in need.

What’s in it for me?

Download the Donate Share formDonating shares is a very tax effective way to give money to PDSA.

Individuals can claim tax relief on the value of the donated shares and charitable gifts of shares are free from capital gains tax.

Visit the giving of shares section of HM Revenue & Customs for further information.

“A recent sale of 409 donated shares raised over £11,000 for PDSA PetAid services."  - Rob Fellows, Trusts and Grants Manager.

If you have any questions, please phone Rob Fellows on 0800 591248 or contact us
