The ultimate challenge – run a marathon for PDSA! We have guaranteed places in the Edinburgh marathon and golden bond places in the London and New York City Marathons. If 26.2 miles is too much, why not take part in a half-marathon, a 10K or a “fun run”? There are hundreds of locally-organised runs round the UK. You can be part of the PDSA charity team running for sick and injured pets.

PDSA has 81 Fundraising Groups across the UK. Each group is made up entirely of volunteers. Groups usually meet monthly to plan and organise events, including sponsored walks, tombolas, stalls, karaoke nights, coffee mornings and dog shows. Each group is supported by a PDSA Fundraising Manager who is also happy to encourage one-off events organised by people who want to help PDSA.

Challenges
PDSA is offering a challenge for 2009 with an exciting opportunity for all animal lovers. Join us on the Mont Blanc alpine trek, one of the most beautiful mountains in the world and the highest in Western Europe. You will be rewarded with a very special treat on the final day, an exclusive visit to see the St Bernards at the centre and learn more about the breed. The centre is the principal source of St Bernards in the Alps. Normally closed on a Monday, the centre will open especially for us. If you are keen to take part in this, or any other overseas challenges to raise vital funds for PDSA, contact us, we can help find the right challenge for you.

Ever wanted to jump out of a plane at 10,000ft? You choose the date and location from one of 21 drop zones round the UK. We arrange for you to experience the exhilarating freefall with the guidance and safety of an experienced instructor. If you pledge to raise the minimum sponsorship, the cost of your jump is deducted and you skydive for free. How far will you go to raise money for PDSA?
