Urgent need to replace Hendon PDSA Pet Hospital

Hendon PDSA Pet Hospital has helped look after local pets for almost 50 years

During this time, the Pet Hospital has had refurbishments to allow the vet team to support an ever-growing number of pets. In 2023 alone, Hendon PDSA saw an average of 140 pets every single working day!

As the UK’s leading vet charity, we’re committed to treating local pets in the best environment and doing everything we can to help owners keep their four-legged friends happy and healthy.

But sadly, the current Pet Hospital is outdated, and its vital facilities are no longer fit for purpose. It’s now struggling to cope with the number of pets who need our help and desperately needs replacing.

A new Hendon PDSA Pet Hospital will mean we can be there for more pets who desperately need our help. Can you make this happen by making a pledge today?

You can help treat local pets long into the future

Our new replacement Hendon PDSA Pet Hospital will be built approximately 900 yards from the current site, ensuring minimal disruption for the pets and people who rely on our veterinary services. It will be modern and designed to enable us to provide the best possible treatment for all our pet patients long into the future, with a dedicated X-ray room and two additional consulting rooms.

We need to raise £1.3 million to fund the expanded capacity of the new hospital. As a charity, we receive no government funding and rely entirely on public support, so we can only do this with your help.

The vision for our new Hendon PDSA Pet Hospital

We plan to begin construction work by early 2025 and aim for our new facility to open in 2026.

The new Hendon PDSA Pet Hospital will provide:

Let's reach our fundraising goal

The new Hendon PDSA Pet Hospital will cost £3.3 million to build and equip. Help us reach our £1.3 million fundraising target by kindly making a pledge today.

What if more money is raised than is needed?

If we raise more money than is needed to build and equip the new Hendon PDSA Pet Hospital, we will allocate any surplus funds wherever the need is greatest to support as many pet owners and pets as possible.

Should our appeal not reach its full fundraising target, we would make up the shortfall by continuing to raise funds in other ways, and your donation will still go to the new Pet Hospital.
