Help us treat the growing number of Bristol pets who need our care
Every day we do the utmost to treat all the pets who need us. We all love pets and want to do the very best for them. But we fear – and have a good reason to believe that in the months to come, more pets will be brought through our doors than ever before. In the next two years we could be treating 20 per cent more pets in Bristol than we do today. We have worked out that to be there for all those additional pets in the coming months alone, we need to raise an extra £36,000 – a substantial but vital sum.
Please help pets like Houdini
Houdini was brought to the Bristol PetAid hospital in terrible pain and distress. He had been shot in the face by an air-gun pellet and he needed treatment fast. The first thing we did was to x-ray him, which revealed that the pellet had passed through his eye and was lodged in his neck. His eye was irreparably damaged and we had no choice but to remove it – The operation was touch and go but luckily Houdini recovered and thankfully he is now getting out and about again.

£15 could help towards the cost of an additional basket to carry a cat like Houdini to the operating theatre safely
£25 could help towards extra general anaesthetic drugs, so we can always treat pets like Houdini
£50 could help us pay towards the added x-rays needed when a pet is seriously injured in Bristol
£75 could help towards the extra veterinary and nursing care when we treat a new pet at the Bristol PetAid hospital
