Help us save a sick or injured pets life
Before we can begin to tend to an emergency our vets and nurses have to treat the pet for shock and give them something for the pain. An animal in shock can deteriorate and fall in to a coma or even die. A simple thing like a drip bag of fluids can work miracles. We use drips every day in our PetAid hospitals – it’s often the first crucial step to saving a pet’s life. We cannot predict what accidents we’ll see but we need to be prepared for them all.

Please help us save the lives of pets like Lassie
Lassie was rushed to the PetAid hospital in Bristol after falling 200ft from a cliff.
She had suffered multiple injuries including a dislocated joint in her front leg, broken back leg (femur or thigh bone) and bruising to the face.
She was put on a drip and given medication to ease the pain. Her broken back leg required surgery to fit an external fixator and her front leg was manipulated back in to place.
After months of follow-up appointments and surgery Lassie finally had the external fixator removed and although she may need further operations she is thankfully back on all four paws!
How you can help pets like Lassie
