Canine recovery room

How do I sponsor a room?

We are looking for generous individuals or organisations who would consider sponsoring one of the many rooms at our 43 PetAid hospitals throughout the United Kingdom.

We know that there are very special people out there, people who know what it is to love a pet.

So please, listen to your heart and get in touch today, we’d love to speak to you and discuss how sponsoring one of our rooms could help save the lives of many sick and injured pets.

Please remember – your gift could save a pets life.

Could you sponsor a room at one of our PetAid hospitals?

Please get in touch with us if you would like to sponsor a room at any of our PetAid hospitals across the UK.

What rooms can I sponsor?

On average it costs us around £1 million to run each of our 43 hospitals.  This is a large sum of money to raise every year and we rely on the generosity of supporters to provide all the funds we need to continue our services – we receive no money from the government or the Lottery.

There are a number of standard rooms within each hospital which can be named in return for the stated sponsorship amount:

Room available for sponsorship
Sponsorship amount required for naming
Major Operating Theatre
£275,000
Minor Operating Theatre
£255,000
Theatre Prep area
£200,000
Dental Suite
£95,000
Digital X-Ray Suite
£95,000
Diagnostic Suite
£90,000
Canine Recovery Ward
£85,000

Some of our more up to date hospitals, such as our new Sunderland facility, have additional rooms which are available for sponsorship.  These include a Dental Theatre, a dedicated digital x-ray room, separate recovery wards for cats and dogs, as well as a small animal recovery area.

If you are interested in sponsoring any of these rooms we would be more then happy to discuss the opportunities available and our contact details can be found at the top of this page.

What it means to be a room sponsor

If you very kindly decide to sponsor a room at any one of our hospitals you’ll be helping us to continue to provide our much-needed free veterinary care to thousands of poorly pets.

In return you will be offered the opportunity to name your chosen room, perhaps in the memory of a loved one. A plaque will be placed in the hospital as a lasting tribute to your generosity and kindness.

As a special thank you a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the hospital will be arranged, creating a unique opportunity for you to learn more about the hospital and to meet some of the veterinary staff who will be using your sponsored room on a daily basis.

We’ll also keep you informed about events at the hospital as well as sending you our quarterly ‘Update’ magazine.

PetAid hospital naming

Some very special benefactors decide to make a substantial contribution to our PetAid hospitals.

In these exceptional circumstances we are very happy to name the hospital as a lasting tribute to the supporter’s love of animals.

Nine of our 43 hospitals have been named in this way so far, with one of the first being our Romford PetAid hospital, The Julie and Robert Breckman Centre, which was built thanks to a living will from actress Julie Breckman and her husband Robert.

The Julie and Robert Breckman Centre

When Julie Breckman developed a terminal illness she and her husband, Robert, decided to fund our Romford hospital as a 'living will', the first of its kind for us.

The Julie and Robert Breckman Centre is decorated with memorabilia from Julie's former career, as actress Julie Alexander.
