Help us raise £300,000 to treat sick and injured pets that rely on us
All vet Ian Jones wants to do is be there for the pets that need us. As the economic strain continues, more and more people are turning to PDSA to treat their pets. More and more pets need our help every day. Ian has never run a marathon before, but when he was given the chance to raise money for the pets and people he cares about so much, he couldn’t pass it up.
But his hard work and determination are not enough. We need to raise £300,000 to keep our vital services running and that’s why Ian is turning to supporters like you for help.
Please sponsor Ian today to help raise the vital funds we need to treat all of the pets that need us.
Help us be there to treat pets like Max
Max,a six year old Labrador was taken for his usual daily walk with owner Susan. As they went back to the car, something caught Max’s attention and he ran into the road, unfortunately straight in front of a car.
The car was unable to stop in time and Max was hit and Max was badly injured. Luckily, Susan was able to take Max to their local PDSA PetAid hospital where Max was seen immediately.
Max was treated for shock and his wounds were cleaned and dressed. He then underwent surgery and unfortunately his injuries meant his leg had to be amputated. Although Susan was devastated, she was relieved that thanks to PDSA, he was going to survive. Thanks to PDSA, Max has made a remarkable recovery and is now back to his happy, energetic self.
Please will you sponsor Ian either £13, £26 or £52 and help us be there for pets like Max.
How you can help pets like Max by sponsoring Ian to run the London Marathon
£13 or 50p a mile could help pay towards the many bandages we use each day to dress injuries
£26 or £1 a mile could pay for special medicines designed to help vulnerable puppies recover from infections
£52 or £2 a mile would help pay for a stethoscope to listen to a pets heart- vital when making a diagnosis
