8 year old Buddy suffers with Cushing's Disease and needs your help.

Buddy's notes

Buddy was leading a normal happy life until last year, when he started displaying worrying symptoms including increased thirst and fur-loss.

Veterinary staff at Edinburgh PDSA PetAid hospital are now treating Buddy for Cushings disease, a condition where some glands in the body produce too much hormone. This excess hormone can cause a wide range of side effects, such as drinking too much, hair loss and muscle wasting.

Buddy will need daily medication for the rest of his life, along with regular checkups at his PetAid hospital to see how he is dealing with his condition.

Owner notes

"Without PDSA I couldn't afford Buddy's long-term treatment. Things have changed very drastically in my life since my husband died and I have no idea how I would have paid for his treatment every month"
