11 year old Sally suffers with Arthritis and needs your help.

Sally's notes

Two years ago, eleven-year-old greyhound, Sally, was diagnosed as suffering with osteoarthritis of her joints. Luckily for her and her devoted owner Sally's health problems are now well under control, thanks to vets at Glasgow PDSA PetAid hospital.

Margaret, who was eligible for PDSA services, took Sally to Glasgow PDSA PetAid hospital in Shamrock Street, where she was examined by vet Dermot Mullen. Sally came into PDSA limping and on examination she appeared quite tender in places. "I immediately suspected arthritis was to blame, but needed to x-ray her to confirm my suspicions."

Margaret now ensures that Sally receives the correct dosage of medication. Sally must take one and a half tablets each day, along with her food.

Owner notes

"She's very good about the tablets", says Margaret. "I've not had any problems yet. It's probably because she enjoys her food so much she doesn't notice the tablets hidden in her bowl!"
