Why poorly pets need sponsors

PDSA cares for over 350,000 pet patients. Some of them have conditions like diabetes, heart disease, asthma and arthritis. Poorly pets like these can never be cured, but with our help and yours they can live happy, healthy lives.

The owners of these poorly pets love them very much, but they simply cannot afford their long-term treatment. So PDSA needs to step in to give them the medication their lives depend on.

We receive no funding from HM Government or the National Lottery for our PetAid services. Therefore we rely on the help of sponsors, and other donors, to enable us to treat these pets.

These pet patients need all the sponsors they can get. The veterinary check-ups, ongoing treatment and daily medication they need are very expensive.

Sponsors mean we can always be there. We can provide the treatment and check-ups that this special group of patients need, for as long as they need it.

What is pet sponsorship?

All of these pets need regular sponsorship to ensure PDSA can provide them with the treatment they need.
