We have lots of UK Charity Challenges for you to choose from to help raise funds for PDSA.
Skydive
Ever wanted to do a parachute jump? How does a FREE charity skydive sound?
Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet - the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go - falling forward into the clouds, diving down through the air as you start freefalling at over 120mph! Then imagine the peace and quiet as the canopy opens, the steering toggles come down either side of you and you begin a tranquil parachute descent from a mile up in the air, steering yourself back down to the centre of the drop zone below. Imagine being able to do this for FREE whilst harnessed to a professional freefall parachute instructor and at the same time being able to help a worthwhile charity! Stop imagining, it's real and it's happening all the time and you can be part of it...
What must I do to qualify for a free jump?
All you have to do is raise £395 (or more!) for PDSA by asking your friends and colleagues to sponsor you, using our specially designed sponsorship forms which you will find at the back of this information pack. Please do not be put off by this amount - if you ask everybody you know to sponsor you, you will find you can quite easily raise the minimum £395 sponsorship and remember, every penny you raise over the minimum will be further contributing to PDSA and giving you the chance to make an exhilarating freefall parachute jump for FREE!
There are twenty British Parachute Association approved centres across the UK.

Sponsored Swim
A great way to get all the family involved in fundraising for PDSA is to organise a sponsored swim. Little ones can get sponsored for shorter distances, whilst the grownups could get sponsored to complete a longer distance or even a swimming relay between friends.
If you would like to organise a charity sponsored swimming event, get in touch with us to register your charity event and receive all the materials you will need to raise money for PDSA.

Case Study
Daredevil PDSA trio 'Derek's Angels' raised over £1,000 for pets in need of vets with a thrilling skydive.
The team, Derek Spinks, Clare Elwell and Gillian Beckwith, all work in Direct Marketing at Head Office but spent one weekend in September doing something a little different - plunging 10,000 feet in a series of tandem skydives.
The 'Angels' smashed their target of £1,200 raising a total of £1627 for PDSA.
