Rehoming service - Safe hands

We are pleased to assist with rehoming supporters’ pets. However, as PDSA is not a rehoming charity, we do not operate kennels/catteries. We must therefore discuss the needs of the pets with their owner, at the time their will is prepared.

Where a supporter is kind enough to include a gift in their will for PDSA they can register up to three pets with “Safe hands”, our rehoming service.

If an emergency does arise following the death of a PDSA benefactor regarding the welfare of a surviving pet, and there is no provision in the will, please do not hesitate to contact us. Even if we cannot assist directly we may be able to suggest appropriate contacts to facilitate suitable care for a pet.
