Consulting rooms
Can you help us build and equip the consulting rooms at our new pet hospitals in Birmingham, Plymouth and Cardiff?
Find out how you can get involved
What is a consulting room?
The consulting rooms are where vets and nurses examine all sick and injured pets brought into our pet hospitals by their owners. Nurses have their own consulting room where they discharge patients after an operation or run special nutrition, advice and diabetic clinics.
How can I sponsor a consulting room?
The consulting rooms in each of our pet hospitals cost £50,000 to build and fully equip each room, and we have six in total at each pet hospital.
If you are interested in donating the full amount to sponsor one of our consulting rooms, please get in touch with our pet hospital appeal team on 0800 0199 004 or use our online contact form

£500 Could pay for one wall mounted metal table used by the vet when examining a pet in the consulting room
£800 Could pay for an instrument used by the vet to look at a pet’s eye
A donation of any amount will help us build our much needed new pet hospitals and build hope for all the pets who need us.

Case Study
Lassie
The veterinary team at her local pet hospital provided life-saving treatment to Collie, Lassie, who sustained horrific injuries in a 200-foot fall from a cliff. Four-year-old Lassie needed emergency surgery to fix broken and dislocated bones, which could have prevented her ever walking again. She is now back on all four paws, thanks to PDSA.
