How to organise your own events
There are plenty of ways you can raise money for PDSA and our Pet Hospital Appeal which will help us treat hundreds of sick and injured pets every day. You can help our Pet Hospital Appeal by organising your own fundraising event.
Bake cakes and cookies, wash cars, walk dogs or even shave your head, your options are endless!

Once you have decided what you would like to do to support the PDSA Pet Hospital Appeal, please get in touch with the fundraising department so we can organise for a fundraising pack to be sent to you. This pack will have everything you need to get started to organise your fundraising event and raise much needed funds for sick and injured pets.
You could also sign up to take part in externally organised events such as marathons or sponsored bike rides. We now have a search facility available for you to search for events near you as well as all the details you need to sign up for the event.
Get involved in the pet hospital appeal
The fundraising team are busy organising events in the Pet Hospital Appeal locations for you to sign up and get involved in! From a dedicated skydiving day in Cardiff to running a half marathon in Plymouth, why not take a look at what we have planned and how you can sign up today.
Alternatively there is also the chance to sign up for an overseas challenge, where you can trek through rainforest, cycle through the Amazon or even sign up for an Icelandic Lava adventure. Or why not get in touch and find out if there is a thrilling zip-line adventure or the chance to go swimming with sharks near you!
There is also the chance for you to recycle for PDSA. Donate your old mobile phone, used stamps and ink cartridges or unused foreign coins all to raise funds for sick and injured pets.
Fundraising Groups
Why not become part of a vital team by joining a fundraising group in your area, or even set up a new group of your own.
PDSA has a number of volunteer fundraising groups across the UK helping to raise funds and awareness of our services for sick and injured pets. You can join one of our existing groups to meet new friends, have fun and improve your social life whilst organising fundraising events to help poorly pets. Volunteer fundraisers meet regularly and organise a wide variety of events, including sponsored walks, coffee mornings and dog shows.
Alternatively you could form your own group with some of your friends and family and organise events of your own. If you would like to join a group, or form one of your own, please contact the fundraising department for more information.

Mother and daughter dancing duo Gwen and Tammika Hopkins raised over £1,000 for the new Cardiff Pet Aid Hospital in November when they organised a Zumbathon, after PDSA cared for their beloved Alsatian-cross rescue dog, Sam.
Tammika, who runs a regular Zumba class, says "If you want to do something to raise money for the PDSA Pet Hospital Appeal, then do it! No matter how big or small, believe me, your effort will be well worth it and will go towards building the three vital brand new Pet Aid Hospitals PDSA needs"
