F.A.Q Kittens & Cats

My cat is old, and sometimes has an 'accident' around the house. How can I clean up the patches of urine and get rid of the rather pungent smell?

Start off with a thorough cleaning of the soiled area with a warm solution of a biological washing powder, rinsing with cold water and allowing the area to dry. Then scrub with alcohol, such as surgical spirit, making sure it is completely dry before the pet is allowed access again.
