Ask The Vet
PDSA Vet on the Net is for well pets, to provide information about their health and welfare and to answer general enquiries relating to diet, behaviour etc.
Ask The Vet
You can submit your veterinary questions at any time and twice a week our resident vet, Sean Wensley BVSc MSc MRCVS will choose a selection of the questions and reply on the site.
If your animal is in distress and needs emergency first aid, you must get in touch with a veterinary surgeon in your local area. There is a list at www.yell.com.
Our extensive archives include all topics we have covered so far. It’s continuously growing, so please use our search facility to see what information is already available.
If you can’t find what you are looking for in our archives, why not ask a question?
Around the world the diseases and conditions that affect pets can vary enormously, therefore Sean only answers questions from the UK.
Topic of the month
Each month PDSA delivers a new pet care message through an informative leaflet written by our vets. Topics covered by the leaflets include First Aid, Vaccinations and Neutering. Why not download a copy?
Pet Health Video Clips
PDSA Pet Health Videos are fantastic video clips all about caring for your pets.
They are filmed in and around our PDSA PetAid hospitals and show PDSA vets and nurses demonstrating how to care for dogs, cats and rabbits and giving great advice about choosing a pet to suit you and your home.
