Pet Health Video: Cat Grooming

PDSA vet, Richard, is in his consulting room with a black four-year-old cat called Molly. He says that grooming cats can increase the bond between cat and owner and is an opportunity for owners to spot any skin problems or parasites. First, he uses a comb on Molly to remove dead hair and any knots, then a gentle brush which brings a healthy-looking sheen to the coat. Being groomed also improves her circulation and muscle tone.
