Pet Health Video: Dog Worming
PDSA vet, Lynda, is talking about worming a brown Border Terrier, called Billy. She says that dogs like Billy can get roundworms from their Mum and that infections can be prevented with powders, medicines, tablets or a liquid applied to the skin on the back of the neck. First of all the treatment is needed fortnightly, then monthly. Lynda says that tapeworm infections need to be treated as well. Tapeworms can be caught from fleas or from hunting.
