Ideas
Grab your best friend and your school mates and have fun raising money for sick and injured pets! There are loads of different ways to raise money, we’ve got some great ideas for you below, but don’t let that limit you - the possibilities are endless!
Like a challenge?
Sponsored events are always fun! You can get your family and friends to sponsor you to do anything, the crazier the better!
Try a sponsored dog walk, dance, silence, chocolate or telly ban, a sponsored hop, hair cut, football pass or even sitting in a bath full of baked beans!
Request a sponsor form now and we will post one to you or if you would like to set up an online fundraising page select 'PDSA Pet Protectors' as your event, so we can track your fundraising and award you Pet Protectors points!
Have you got the X-factor?
Put a band together with your friends and hold a concert at school. Or get your SingStar out and charge mates to have a go - give a prize for the person with the highest score. Why not get into the festive spirit with a bit of carol singing at Christmas too?
Hate school uniform?
Why not ask your school friends to pay to escape school uniform for the day? You could even get all of your teachers to wear uniform instead!
Or for a bit of fun you could all wear your pyjamas or animal onsies!
Calling all entrepreneurs
Why not hold a fundraising stall at a school fete, car boot sale or a local market?
You and your friends can clear out your rooms and sell books or toys you don't want anymore, or you could make and sell gifts, jewellery, cards, cakes or popcorn! You could even raise money by washing cars! We’ve got great blank posters so you can fill in all your event details yourself, or you can create your own. Download a fundraising poster now!
Are you a party queen?
Hold your own party or sleepover and ask your friends to make a donation to play games or buy cakes. Make your party different with a fancy dress competition, tombola, name the teddy bear game or guess the number of sweets in a jar.
Download your party pack for everything you need to run an amazing party, including invitations, party games and masks!
Artistic?
Get the face paints or make-up out and charge your friends to look amazing for the day!
If you’re really good you could sell your own caricatures or portraits of people too.
Lots of spare change?
You could encourage your family to collect all their spare change in a box.
You’ll be surprised how quickly it adds up.
Download a collection box template now (PDF - 3.99 MB)!
We can send you balloons, posters, leaflets and other materials to help you fundraise.
Once you’ve collected all the money you raised, send a cheque to: PDSA Pet Protectors HQ, Whitechapel Way, Priorslee, Telford, Shropshire TF2 9PQ.
Remember, if you’re a Pet Protectors Club member, you get points towards your awards every time you help PDSA!
