The seventh annual PDSA PetCheck UK tour is gearing up to provide pet care advice and free health checks for dogs to any pet owners.
PDSA works closely with dog wardens and local authorities visiting locations ranging from town centres to country parks, recreation grounds to leisure centres.
PetCheck venues also include Pets at Home superstores, fun dog shows organised by PDSA and other animal charities and Primary schools all to support PDSA's aim of promoting better understanding of pet health.
Pet owners are invited to come along to have their pet health questions answered by an experienced PetCheck veterinary nurse and to find out more about PDSA.
A free PDSA health check (dogs only for safety reasons) covers: diet and nutrition; dental care; coat condition and general fitness. If you think your dog is carrying a few pounds too many, the PetCheck nurse will check him/her over and can offer expert advice on diet and exercise.
