This website is operated by PDSA (referred to as “PDSA/we/our/us”). Any user of this website (referred to as “you/your”) acknowledges that any use of this website including any transactions made and all orders for the purchase of goods from the site (“use/using”) is subject to our Terms and Conditions below.
You may only place an order for goods if you agree to these terms and conditions. By placing an order you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions as governing your order.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Trading
The PDSA e-Shop is administered by PDSA. The profits from the sale of items displayed in our online catalogue will be passed on to PDSA Trading Limited (Registered Company No. 1595637) which is a wholly owned subsidiary of PDSA (Registered Charity No. 208217) to which it pays all of its taxable profits. PDSA Trading Limited trades only to raise funds for its charity's objectives.
General
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect immediately when posted on the website (see date at the top). It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest posted Terms and Conditions.
Order Process
When you submit an order for a product you will see a "confirmation page" setting out the product details. Following this, we will send to you an order receipt email detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or acceptance from PDSA.
Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product. It is subject to our acceptance and will be processed in accordance with the conditions of delivery set out below.
Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on despatch to you. [At this time you will receive an email from us stating that the product has been dispatched]. Products will not be dispatched if we have notified you that we do not accept your order or if you have cancelled it.
When you submit your order you are allowing us to use your personal details to fulfil your order. In the event of there being a problem with your order we will communicate with you via email, telephone or letter.
We do not file details of your order for you to subsequently access direct on this website, and therefore, please print out these terms and conditions and the order acknowledgement email for your own records.
Delivery
This website is only for delivery of products to customers in mainland UK. All goods will be sent first class post. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
From the time we receive your order, we aim to deliver your goods to you within 14 working days. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. PDSA shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within the estimated timescales, whether or not the reasons for delay are within PDSA's control.
Risk of loss and damage of goods passes to you on the date when the products are delivered, or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.
Payment and availability
Payment can be made by most major credit or debit cards.
We take payment from your credit / debit card within 24 hours of receiving your order, after we have checked your card details.
The supply of goods from this site is subject to availability and it is not always possible for us to inform you at the time you place your order whether the goods you want are still available for purchase. In the event of this happening a carefully selected alternative or a full refund may be sent if you have already paid for the out of stock goods. You will be notified by email if any products you order turn out to be unavailable.
Title to any products that you order on this website shall pass to you on delivery of the products provided that we have processed and received payment in full for the products.
We will try our best to ensure that the items and descriptions provided in our on line store are accurate. Please not that all sizes are approximate and colours and designs may vary. Please see our returns policy below.
Returns and Cancellations
We offer a 16 day money back guarantee. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase. Simply return it within 16 days of delivery, unused in its original packaging together with the receipt to the address below, we will exchange it or offer you a full refund, of the cost of the product and any delivery we charged to you, subject to it being in a re-saleable condition.
The only exception to this policy is our range of Dog & Bone telephone SIM cards and pre-payment top-ups. We can’t accept return of these items once opened. We strongly recommend that you check that your mobile phone is SIM unlocked before opening your Dog & Bone SIM card. Many local mobile phone retailers can unlock your phone for a small fee.
We regret that we cannot refund the cost you incur in returning the goods to us, unless the item has been delivered in error. For your protection we recommend you use a recorded-delivery service.
Refunds will be provided using the same payment type by which your order was made. Please allow [30] days from the date the goods are returned for refunds to be made.
