How do I become a PDSA volunteer?

If you would like more information on volunteering or to enrol as a volunteer:

  • Take a look at the volunteer vacancy search to see if PDSA has a current volunteer vacancy near you.

  • If you find a role you would be interested in, please complete the volunteer enrolment form

  • Alternatively, telephone 0800 854194 to receive further details and a free volunteering information pack.

  • You can also contact PDSA’s National Volunteering Centre via our email contact form

Next steps

Once you have completed and sent your completed enrolment form to the PDSA National Volunteering Centre, your details will be passed to the appropriate location. They will contact you to discuss your application. You may be asked to attend an informal interview locally to make sure we find the right role for you.

Please note: if you wish to help at a PDSA PetAid hospital and there are no current volunteering vacancies, your details will be kept on file for a period of 6 months. You many therefore not hear from us unless a suitable position becomes available
