
Richard Dudridge - Key Volunteer of the Year
Outstanding volunteer Richard Dudridge has scooped the title of PDSA Key Volunteer of the Year. Richard volunteers at Taunton shop for six days a week, and assists the shop manager in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the shop, including admin duties, sorting and pricing donations, merchandising and customer service.
Riachrd loves volunteering for PDSA and especially enjoys chatting to the customers. He goes way beyond the call of duty by donating his time on bank holidays and late nights at Christmas.

Chris Loach - Key Volunteer of the Year, Highly Commended
Volunteer Chris Loach has been highly commended in the PDSA Volunteer of the Year Awards for her outstanding dedication to the leading veterinary charity at Uttoxeter PDSA shop. Chris volunteers every Wednesday at the Uttoxeter PDSA shop and often devotes additional hours or days to cover sickness or staff holidays. As a key volunteer, Chris received full training from PDSA and assists the shop manager in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the shop.
Commenting on her achievement, Chris says: "PDSA is a wonderful charity to volunteer for and I’m so happy I was shortlisted for this award, let alone being highly commended."

Kate Cavenaugh - Young Volunteer of the Year
Eighteen-year-old Kate Cavenaugh from Doncaster has scooped the title of PDSA Young Volunteer of the Year, for her commitment and enthusiasm to the leading veterinary charity. Kate has volunteered for PDSA for almost two years and has progressed to become a key volunteer.
Kate -is very passionate about PDSA and often thinks of quirky fundraising ideas such as themed days to help raise extra money for pets in need of vets. Kate’s often first in line to don fancy dress for special occasions such as Halloween, much to the enjoyment of PDSA customers!"

Michael Jemal - Young Volunteer of the Year, Highly Commended
Twenty-four-year-old Michael Jemal from Leyton has been highly commended in the PDSA Volunteer Awards. Michael has volunteered for Leyton PDSA shop for two years and during that time, he has become a valuable member of the team. He started doing work experience for half a day a week, but he soon got the volunteering bug and now volunteers a couple of days every week! Volunteering has really boosted his confidence.
Michael thinks PDSA is a wonderful charity to volunteer for. His main responsibilities include serving on the till and he really enjoys chatting to the customers and helping them with their shopping.

Cheltenham PDSA Shop - Retail Volunteer Team of the Year
Volunteers at the Cheltenham PDSA shop are celebrating after winning the PDSA Retail Volunteer Team of the Year Award! They beat 179 other PDSA shops to win the coveted award.
The Cheltenham PDSA shop volunteer team is made up of 22 men and women, ranging in age from 14 to 80. Between them, they ensure the shop is fully staffed, well stocked and that every customer leaves with a smile on their face.
