Stelly the Staffie

The day we rescued you just before your 17th birthday was a very happy day indeed. Within weeks you turned from a tired and stressed little girl into a happy and confident poppet and you knew you were the queen of your new castle!. I loved watching you blossom every day, watching your hair turn shiny and the hair grow back on your ears. We had very happy days and every day I tried to make special for you, with your favourite food or a sniff on the beach. You filled a Staffie sized hole I didn't know I had and you completed us as a little family. We had no idea of the amount of time we had together but I think everyone thought that Christmas 2016 and your 17th birthday was your last. Your strength and determination carried you on to the next Christmas, your 18th Birthday and 4 months longer. The day I let you go broke my heart completely but everything I did was with your best interests as the focus. Stelly you darling wonderful strong little Staffie I will miss you everyday and il think about you all the time. I'm so glad I had the chance to show you what a real home looks like and you felt nothing but love, happiness and warmth for your 511 days at home with us.
