PDSA at the National Pet Show

The National Pet Show is returning to Birmingham this year! Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick will be returning along with animal performances including Britain’s Got Talent finalists Lucy Heath and Trip Hazard, and SuperDogs Live hosted by TV presenter Michaela Strachan.

Alongside the show’s special guests, there will of course loads of animals to see from fish and reptiles to cats and dogs. PDSA will of course be there again to help give some great advice to current and future pet owners!

We need volunteers to help us man our PetWise vehicle where we’ll be talking to visitors about the amazing work we do. We need volunteers for different roles:

PDSA Ambassadors

We need passionate and enthusiastic people to volunteer to be ambassadors. In this role, you’ll engage with visitors and encourage them to support our work. Activities include:

  • Speaking to people about PDSA
  • Encouraging people to engage with the activities at our PetWise vehicle or stand
  • Promote our Pet Protectors club.

Event crew

We need volunteers to be part of our event crew! Like our ambassadors, you’ll need to be passionate and enthusiastic about the work we do at PDSA. Activities include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors to our stands and the PetWise vehicle
  • Speak to visitors about PDSA
  • Supporting our pet operation activities including the messy ‘jelly belly slime game’ and pet operation
  • Dress up as or support our PDSA mascot
  • Help with retail activities.
