We have places on the following runs. To take one of our places you will need to commit to raising a minimum sponsorship target.  But by being part of Team PDSA, you will be supported all way and we will do our best to make your experience fantastic.

Bournemouth Marathon

Bournemouth Marathon

Date: Sunday 2 October 2016

Time: 10am

Location: Kings Park Drive, Bournemouth, BH7 6JD

Distance: 26.2 miles 

Age: 18 years and over

Route: Running as it should be. Beautiful coastal views, a chance to run the Boscombe and Bournemouth piers and a spectacular finish.

Minimum sponsorship target: £800

Edinburgh Marathon

Edinburgh Marathon

Date: Sunday 29 May 2016

Times: 9:50am (London Road start) and 10am (Regent Road start)

Location: London Road, Edinburgh and Regent Road, Edinburgh.

Distance: 26.2 miles 

Age: 18 years and over

Application deadline: Weds 27 April 2016

Route: Flat and fast. This course was voted the fastest marathon in the UK by Runners World in 2008. Great if it's your first marathon or you are looking for a personal best. 

Minimum sponsorship target: £800

Isle of Wight Challenge

Isle of Wight Challenge

Date:  30 April to 1 May 2016 (Bank Holiday Weekend)

Location:  Perhaps the most spectacular Ultra challenge, the scenery on this challenge will be sure to take your breath away.

Start: Chale, South Coast - Isle of Wight. 
Finish:  Chale, South Coast - Isle of Wight.

  • Stage 1 - Chale 0km - The Needles 21km (1st Major Rest Stop)
  • Stage 2 - The Needles  -  West Cowes ~31km (Halfway Major Rest Stop 52km)
  • Stage 3 - West Cowes - Sandown 26km (3rd Major Rest Stop 80km)
  • Stage 4 - Sandown - Chale 29km (Finish 106 km
 
Distance: Choice of the full 106km coastal loop of the island or either 56km or 30km routes. If you run, it is a fully supported 'Ultra Marathon'

Half and Quarter Island Challenge Options Two day option - split the challenge over two days and sleep or camp at the half way point Join as an Individual or as a Team Pace walkers, physios, and medics are on hand throughout the challenge and you can get a well earned massage at the finish line! 
Cost: Fundraisers commit to a minimum fundraising target for PDSA.
  • Full island challenge (106km):  £395 minimum Fundraising per person
  • Full island two day challenge (106km) - £395 minimum Fundraising per person
  • Half island challenge (52/54km) - £250 minimum Fundraising per person
  • Quarter island challenge (25km) - £150 minimum Fundraising per person

London 2 Brighton Challenge

London 2 Brighton Challenge

Date: 28 and 29 May 2016 (Bank Holiday Weekend)

Time: You choose your start time. Runners can start from 6.00am. Walkers and joggers can start from 7.00am

Location: London and Brighton. This is an iconic ultra run and sees a huge 92% of participants taking on the full 100km. A fantastic finish on Brighton’s racecourse – few will rival this event for atmosphere!

Start: Richmond, West London.  
Finish: Brighton Race Course, East Sussex

London 2 Cambridge Challenge

London 2 Cambridge Challenge

Date: 2 and 3 July 2016

Location:

London and Cambridge. Follow the river Lea out of the Capital past locks and parkland, before crossing the finish line in the historic city of Cambridge .

Start: Near Olympic Park, London.  
Finish: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Times: Walk it at your own pace over 24+ hours

Distance: Choice of either a 100km or 50km challenge.  You can walk, run or jog the route. If you run, it is a fully supported 'Ultra Marathon'.  

Route: 
  • Varied 100km route - 70% off road
  • 50km Half Challenge options available
  • 1st Quarter Challenge (24km) available 
  • Take part as a relay team with each team member tackling a section of the 100km route. 
Information for participants:  
  • Join as an Individual or as a Team 
  • Make it to the finish line and you'll get a finishers T-shirt, medal & glass of bubbly!
  • Pace walkers, physios, massage & medics on hand throughout the challenge.

South Coast Challenge

South Coast Challenge

Date: 27 and 28 May 2016 (Bank Holiday Weekend)

Location: A route that takes in some of the finest scenery in Southern England, starting in Eastbourne and finishing in Arundel, via Brighton. En route is Beachy Head, Devil’s Dyke, and Seven Sisters Country Park along the South Downs way.

Start: Eastbourne, East Sussex.  
Finish: Arundel, West Sussex.

Distance: 100km, 50km and 23km options available. You can walk, run or jog the route. If you run, it is a fully supported 'Ultra Marathon'

  • New two day option - break the route into two days and sleep at half way
  • 1st Quarter Challenge option (23km route including 7 Sisters)

  • Shuttle buses to and from stations and good train links to the route
  • Join as an Individual or as a Team
  • Pace walkers, physios and medics will be on hand throughout the challenge and you can get a well-earned massage at the finish line too!
  • Free hot meals, drinks and snacks will be provided en route
Cost: Initial registration fee of £69, to be paid by each individual registering to take part. Fundraisers also commit to a minimum fundraising target for PDSA.

Thames Path Challenge

Thames Path Challenge

Date: 10 and 11 September 2016

Location:  A stunning route that follows the Thames all the way from Putney to Henley, it’s also the perfect event for corporate teams.

Start: Putney Bridge, London  
Finish: Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire

Time: Choose your start time. Runners can start from 7.00am. Walkers can start from 8.00am

Distance: There's a choice of 100km, 75km, 50km or 25km routes available

Route:  
  • Fully signed route
  • Pace walkers, medics, doctors, massage to support you all the way
  • Plenty of parking and shuttle busses to nearby stations at finish points.
  • You can choose to split the challenge over two days and tackle 50km on Saturday and 50km on Sunday
  • Half Challenge 50km options - run, walk or jog either the first or second half of the route
  • Quarter Challenge 25k option - you can walk any of the 4 legs of the route between London and Cambridge, or run the first or third leg.
  • Take on three legs of the route (75km) and run walk or jog from Hampton to Henley

Fundraisers commit to a minimum fundraising target for PDSA.
