In it you’ll find all the tools you need to start helping all the sick and injured pets who are raising a paw to ask for help.

Plan for success

Successful events don’t just happen, they rely on good planning. Ask yourself the following questions before choosing an event:

  • How many helpers do I need?
  • How long do I need to plan this event?
  • Who will come?
  • How much do I want to raise?
  • What costs are involved?
  • Are there any legal requirements?
  • Do I need insurance?
  • Is it safe and legal

Knowing the answers to all these questions will give you confidence and help you have a successful event with no last-minute hitches.

GROUP

Fundraising as a group

For more information on fundraising as a group, fill out this online form or call 0800 5088323

There are a couple of different ways you can approach fundraising as a group – see which one suits you.

Join one of our existing groups

PDSA has a number of groups across the UK who get together to fundraise and raise awareness of PDSA. Volunteer fundraisers meet regularly and organise a wide variety of events including sponsored walks, tombolas, coffee mornings, dog shows and more. It’s a great way to have fun and meet new friends.

Set up a new group

Form a new group with friends, family and neighbours. Or perhaps there’s one you’re already part of, like a rotary club, youth club, fitness club or dog training group and you think you could add fundraising to your activities. Contact us for more information.

Be safe and legal

Whatever your fundraising event is for PDSA, you want it of course to be safe and legal as well as enjoyable. So please read our Liability Statement and our Safe and Legal Guidelines to keep you on the right side of the law.

Create your own fundraising page

A great way to publicise your event and boost your fundraising is to set up your own online giving page.It means people have a convenient and secure way to donate to what you’re doing. They might share it with other friends and family too, which will help you reach your goal. It’s really easy to do.
