• Chocolate poisoning

  Chocolate contains a substance called ‘theobromine’ which is toxic to dogs and cats. It’s similar to caffeine and can cause problems with the nervous system, bowels, kidneys and heart.

  Being unable to pass urine is a life threatening condition that requires immediate veterinary attention. Call your vet for advice ASAP if your dog or cat is having trouble peeing.
