• Chocolate poisoning in cats and dogs

  Chocolate contains a substance called ‘theobromine’ which is toxic to dogs and cats. It’s similar to caffeine and can cause problems with the nervous system, bowels, kidneys and heart.

  Being unable to pee is a life threatening condition. If your cat is unable to pass urine, this could indicate a blocked bladder. Call your vet for advice ASAP is having trouble peeing.
