Gastroenteritis is a general term for a stomach and gut upsets. Symptoms include vomiting, diarrhoea and gut pain.
Gastritis is when the stomach becomes irritated and causes vomiting and stomach pain. There are many different causes of gastritis, some minor and some more serious.
Ear infections in dogs can be caused by bacteria or yeast (or both). There is usually an underlying cause for an ear infection, such as ear mites or a skin allergy.
A bladder infection is also sometimes called a ‘urinary tract infection (UTI)’ or ‘bacterial cystitis’.
If you cat has regular episodes of cystitis with no obvious cause they may be suffering with ‘feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC)’.
