Scratching is common in all dogs, however there are many reasons they may have itchier skin than usual.
A sore ear is not something to ignore. Ear problems can be very painful and need vet treatment to cure and find the cause.
Has your dog got red, inflamed, angry looking skin? Or do they have a rash? We often call these symptoms ‘dermatitis’.
Has your dog developed brown, pink or orange patches of fur? On their feet? Around their mouth or eyes? In an area that they lick a lot?
Conjunctivitis is a symptom not a condition. It means inflammation (swelling) of the ‘conjunctiva’. Conjunctivitis can be caused by many different conditions but nearly always causes red, itchy, weepy eyes.
