In memory of Jake

Jake was the best dog a family could have, he was just so friendly.
I know that he will be sadly missed from everyone in the family,
I remember when I was in school and my dad and Jake would come up to collect us, I was small so Jake let me sit on his back and ride down home, but then wouldn't let anyone else do it.
He was never allowed on the couch, but whenever my mum went out we would let him up and snuggle on the couch till she came home.
I have been woken up many a nights with him on my bed taking up all the space and all of my covers.
With all this and all the other memories we have of him, I would trade a second, from the dog training in the early years to the lazy lump lying in the darkness in the later years.
He was the best dog anyone could ask for and can never be replaced.
