Your mobile phones, inkjet cartridges, foreign coins and stamps are valuable to PDSA and the pets in our care!
- Around 8 million mobile phones are sitting in cupboards and drawers around the UK.
- The average mobile phone owner has two phones that they do not use.
- PDSA receives between £5.00 - £30.00 depending on the model. Please see attached list (PDF - 276 KB).
Recycling your old mobile phone and gadgets is easy. Simply fill in our online recycling form or phone us on 0800 508 8323 to request a Freepost envelope.
Did you know your old banger could raise money for PDSA when scrapped through a service called Giveacar?
Giveacar is a not-for-profit social enterprise that can turn your old car into cash.
Unwanted cars are collected free-of-charge by Giveacar and either sold through an online auction, or disposed of in an environmentally friendly way at an Authorised Treatment Facility.
The average car donation raises £100.
Giveacar passes 70% of the car’s value onto PDSA, to help us treat even more sick and injured pets.
To find out how old, unwanted and unused cars can benefit PDSA, please visit the Giveacar website or phone on 0207 736 4242 for more details.
Been on holiday, left with spare change? Why not hold a foreign coin collection at work and raise funds for PDSA. Drop your collections off at your local PDSA Shop or Pet Aid Hospital, or call 0800 508 8323 for further details.
We receive £1 for every recycled cartridge. Clear out your office and donate your used cartridges to PDSA.
Check if your cartridges are recyclable or freephone 0800 435576.
Stamps are worth around £6 per kilo to PDSA.
You can send your used stamps to:
