Pet Health Video: Dog Grooming

PDSA vet, Richard, is in his consulting room with a black and white border collie on the examination table. He says that grooming your dog is important because it helps to keep your house hygienic by removing excess hairs and it is also good for your dog’s skin and muscles. When you are grooming, this is also a good opportunity to spot any skin problems or parasites. First of all he uses a comb on the collie, to remove any knots, then he uses a gentle brush which brings a healthy-looking sheen to the coat.
