In Loving Memory of Meg

Meg came to us from Second Chance Rescue in Derby back in May 2013, believed to be about 3 years old and stayed with us right until her last moments 16/1/24. She was a very placid and friendly dog, happy to curl up on the sofa for snoozy snuggles or to go out and race around the local park. She was never much for playing fetch with balls or sticks and always preferred a tug-of-war game or cuddly toy to rag around.
She was also great with our little boy from pregnancy up to the last days. She knew when my wife was pregnant and would spend lots of time curled up against her and her belly and would always check on the baby once he was here and follow him around as he became a toddler. He loved giving her cuddles and fuss.
Meg always made fast friends with almost any person or other dog that she met, a couple of my friends who are phobic of dogs even grew to like and tolerate her.

She'll be missed incredibly by friends and family alike.

Your messages:

Meg was such a caring doggy. Always there when we came home at the window.. my little boy loved her so much he would hear her bark and shout dog as he was going to sleep. My memory I will never forget was the time back in summer when Meg would come play on our garden with her family and she let herself in to my living room when everyone had gone and had an hour cuddles with us ¿¿ Rest in peace Meg.. You are now with my Bella and Prince over the rainbow ¿

The very beautiful Meg I never did get to keep her but I always got to have a little fuss on the rare occasion that I saw her ¿¿
