My Shining Star

Roxie, you were the heart and soul of our home.

You adored Jasper, and then became a loving big sister to Rafa. The two of you were inseparable and shared a bond that was truly special.

You were the sweetest girl — clever, playful, and full of love. You had a nose for treats and a big love of food. Tug-of-war, walks with your dog friends, and days at the beach always brought out your brightest smile.

You were my constant, especially through my illness. Always by my side, you gave me unconditional love. You were my sunshine, my family, my world. I wish we had more time, but I’ll forever cherish our memories and love you always.

Thank you for everything, Roxie — my brave, beautiful girl who kept me going.


Roxie also helped with important research into Chiari-like malformation and syringomyelia, hoping to make testing and screening easier and more affordable for other dogs.


To honour her, donations have been made to the PDSA, helping sick and injured pets, and to Bliss Cavalier Rescue, who care for Cavaliers in need.
