Our Pet Hospitals are unable to operate at full capacity due to Covid-19 safety restrictions. Therefore, all non-urgent appointments will be done remotely over the telephone for registered PDSA clients. Pet medications can be provided by post or collected at our hospitals.

If your pet is registered at a PDSA Pet Hospital and you're worried about your pet's health and wellbeing, please follow the steps below:

  • Step 1: Please visit our Pet Health Hub to look up your pet's symptoms
  • Step 2: If you think your pet needs urgent, emergency care please call your local Pet Hospital directly
  • Step 3: If your pet does not require emergency care, please continue to complete our appointment request form by clicking the 'get started' button below, and a member of our veterinary team will contact you. You must be registered at a PDSA Pet Hospital to arrange an appointment.

Please note: We are currently unable to offer all preventive treatments, such as neutering, vaccinations and microchipping, at every PDSA Pet Hospital. Charges for remote consultations

Pets registered for free treatment with PDSA can access this service at no cost.

Pets registered for our low cost service* will be charged £20 for a remote consultation. We will take this payment over the phone before your appointment.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

Please note that our appointment request service is only available during normal working hours, and is not available on Bank Holidays or weekends. If you think your pet needs urgent, emergency treatment, or it is out of hours, then please contact your local PDSA Pet Hospital directly on the usual number.

If you have recently registered with PDSA, please be aware you will need to wait 24 hours from initial registration to use our appointment request form.

If you’re not eligible for PDSA Pet Care we advise you to contact your nearest vet practice as soon as possible.

Support for British Sign Language users

We don’t believe there should be any barriers to you using our service. That’s why we’ve partnered with SignLive, an Online Interpreting Service, to support our clients who use BSL. Get started with SignLive.

* Pet owners in receipt of Universal Credit with either the Housing Benefit OR Council Tax element can register one pet for free treatment, and additional pets for our low cost services. Pet owners in receipt of a wide range of other benefits can register for our low cost services, which offer great value for money. These services are available through our Pet Hospitals, and owners must be within the postcode catchment area of their local PDSA.
