SCC is a type of skin cancer in cats caused by sun damage and usually affects the ears, nose and eyelids. It's more common in cats over five years old.
If your cat has developed a big, swollen earflap, it’s most likely to be due to a condition called an aural haematoma (burst blood vessel inside the flap). Contact your vet if you notice your cat has something wrong with their ears.
