I will cherish memories of Cherry - she taught me so much during our time together at Loch of the Lowes and as others have noted, was always kind and caring. She took time to understand how I tick and how much my physical condition affects what I can and cant do by the day, allowing me the freedom to be ‘me’ in a place we loved so much. I’m so glad that her last days were lived as she wished but sad that she didn’t spend more time in the retirement she looked forward too, she really ‘did it her way’. I can think of no more appropriate place for her remains to be than Strowan (that’s allowed!). RIP Cherry.

some lovely memories to remember Cherry by..... her efforts to help others less fortunate ...... and her willingness to go the extra mile ..... her love of her family and of animals...her sense of humour ,one of life's good souls. Every time we walk down to New Lanark......she will be in our thoughts...and if we visit Loch of the Lowes.......visit Coulter.... places she lived and loved . Ave Atque Vale Dear Cherry.

I’m sure you’ll be up there with all your furry friends and cosy by the log burner. Thank you for all your wise words of wisdom. Caroline, Mark and cuddles from Tilly ¿

She was a special person. She introduced me to country living and tried to teach me to ride but I was always more comfortable on the bridge of a ship than in a saddle.
I was in Ecuador when I heard that she was in palliative care and flew back to see her. Those couple of weeks are special to me. We parted on a joke and with a laugh.
If you have to go that's the way to do it.
A brave lady and my eyes have not stopped watering.
The boys are brilliant and I am so proud of them as was she.

Sending love, will miss Cherry so much, but will enjoy holding memories of good times spent with her, over the years.
