PDSA treats one pet every 5 seconds - during a marathon that’s over 3,000 pets. To celebrate our 100 years we want you on our largest ever team of animal lovers.
London Marathon 2018
If you've got a ballot place
If you’ve been lucky enough to get your own place through the ballot, run for PDSA and be part of something special. There are lots of fantastic reasons people choose to run for PDSA – to show your love for pets, to remember a pet you’ve loved and lost, or to help those pets that have nowhere else to turn. Whatever one is close to your heart, you’ll be running for a charity that has provided a staggering 100 million treatments to more than 20 million pets across the UK since 1917.

Join our London Marathon cheering squad
This is your chance to experience the thrill of the London Marathon, and soak up the incredible buzz and humbling atmosphere. Whatever your reasons – you watch the marathon every year on TV, you’re supporting a friend or family member, you want to join our birthday celebrations, or simply for the love of pets – we need you!
Our runners are inspirational; every single member of Team PDSA has spent months training through wind, rain, ice, fog, heat and cold to reach this momentous day. Here at PDSA we support them on their journey from the day they join us, and it doesn’t stop on race day. This is their time to shine, and we’re there to make sure they receive the support they deserve and the loudest cheers as they run or hobble past.
But we can only do it with a brilliant team on the side-lines to holler, clap, cheer and whoop. If you’ve never been before, and fancy experiencing the electric atmosphere for real, make this your year!
PDSA started it’s humble beginnings on the streets of London 100 years ago. Come and celebrate this special team and our birthday with us, in the city where we began. We’ll have banners, clackers, balloons and bang sticks for you, and will provide snacks, t-shirts, and even birthday cake and party poppers!
Our cheer squad is located on Thames Embankment, close to the tube and main line stations, so it’s really easy to get to. Times are flexible, so whether you can do a couple of hours or join us for the full day, we’d love to hear from you.
