  • Weepy eyes in dogs

Weepy eyes can be caused by both harmless problems, or something more serious.

  • Mast Cell Tumours in Dogs

Mast cell tumours (MCT) are a type of skin cancer in dogs. They can be tricky to spot because they all look different and often grow and shrink in size.

  • Demodex mites in dogs

Demodex causes red, crusty skin, hair loss and a scaly coat, worst around the eyes and feet. Demodex is normally quite simple to diagnose but treatment can be challenging.

  • Skin allergies in dogs

Atopic dermatitis (atopy) is an allergy to something in the environment (such as pollen, moulds, grass or dust mites).

  • Itchy ears and head shaking in dogs

Has your dog been shaking his/her head more than usual? Head shaking shouldn’t be ignored because it can indicate many different problems, usually related to the ears.

  • Food allergy in cats

Just like people, cats can develop allergies to certain ingredients in their food. This often causes skin and tummy problems.

  • Dandruff in dogs

Dogs like to keep themselves clean, so if you notice your dog has dandruff (dry, flaky skin) it could be a sign of a problem.

  • Bladder infection (UTI) in cats

A bladder infection is also sometimes called a ‘urinary tract infection (UTI)’ or ‘bacterial cystitis’.

  • Insect bites and stings in dogs

Dogs are most often stung around their face or on their paws. Most stings can be managed at home as long as the signs are mild.

  • Itchy skin in cats

Scratching is normal for cats, but sometimes they can seem a bit itchier than normal and may need to see a vet.
